Sidewinder

I completely modeled this figure and the environment. I really was going for an extreme perspective look, just as Marvel always has strived for. In this case, the head being so much larger than the feet... feeling as though he's flying right by you. I started with the clean render, but then decided I wanted to create the look of a really dated comic on old comic book paper. This led me into rendering with the dot-inking look and fading the image with Photoshop in post. This is the final image I'm the most happy with of the two. ...although I did also enjoy working on the comic-style text of the cleaner image, too.
